Benchmarking and Assessment

Data is power!

You cannot measure progress without first establishing a baseline. To do this, use Habitable’s Informed Product Guidance to benchmark the healthy materials baseline of your current or past projects. Benchmarking is quick and easy to complete using our assessment form and empowers project teams to establish a current baseline, identify opportunities for improvement, and track progress towards healthy materials goals. Informed™ benchmarking follows our product guidance recommendations: step up from red to prefer product types ranked yellow and green.

Advanced Analysis

Beyond benchmarking, Informed™ data can enable advanced analysis resulting in qualitative and quantitative impact metrics.

Our team can help you estimate the weight of hazardous chemicals avoided across spaces or project portfolios, develop customized reporting for stakeholder communications, or access our healthy products data through an API for integration with your existing workflows.

Informed Revit Plug-in - Pilot

Early material decisions have the greatest impact on project health outcomes but are the hardest to change once made. Our Revit plug-in, developed in partnership with Autodesk, integrates science-based healthy materials guidance directly into design workflows during concept and schematic phases—when it matters most.

Like energy modeling, this real-time analysis enables project teams to visualize material health impacts and identify better options before decisions are locked in, positioning teams to select safer, healthier products from the start.
